Contract Manager - Industrial & Logistics Construction Projects

Job Description

Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager:

Contract Set up Phase:

• Contract type selection and implementation 
• Establish negotiation strategy
• Non legal support to set up contract basis up to final contract draft
• Advise on liabilities (delays, contract breach) between contractors and client
• Mitigation dispute avoidance advise, claim and dispute log and tracking

Contract Administration

• Conduct final cost check and identify deviations
• Anticipate and notify contractual deviations
• Coordinate the production of contractual advise
• Track changes, claims and their financial impact of delays to the project schedule, claims by contractor, identify potential disruptions to the construction progress

Qualifications

• Experience in a large project environment (industrial, pharmaceutical, technical)
• Business-related Degree or equivalent (relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered)
• Demonstrated experience managing and understanding complex installation, supply, consulting services and construction contracts 
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiating, project management, planning and organizational skills
• Proven abilities (as they relate to contract management) in influencing internal and external parties, managing risk, and optimizing costs through innovation
• Proficiency with MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
