<p><u><b>Summary</b></u></p><p><u><b>Job Description:</b></u></p><p><i><b>Baptist Health is looking for a CVO Credentials Coordinator to join our team! This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN</b></i></p><p><br/>As Credentialing Coordinator, he/she will perform primary source verification of the Medical/Dental and Allied Health Professionals applications process to include the processing of new applications, requests for temporary privileges and reappointments. Incumbent provides technical and administrative support to the Medical Staff Services Department as directed.</p><p></p><p><i><b>Essential Duties:</b></i></p><ul><li><p>Coordinates physician credentialing for initial and reappointment applications in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and Policies and Procedures.</p></li><li><p>Coordinates allied health professionals credentialing for initial and reappointment applications in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and Policies and Procedures.</p></li><li><p>Application Processing: Initiates, accepts, and reviews applications for privileges.</p></li><li><p>Conducts all primary source verification and obtains all verifications possible for initial and reappointment applications.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for administrative support and problem solving to the medical staff members and allied health professionals.</p></li><li><p>Statistics and record keeping include database entry of physicians and AHP Credentialing and Privileging information.</p></li><li><p>Responds to application status requests.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Qualifications:</i></b></p><ul><li><p><span>Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. College experience or degree preferred.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Minimum of two years in a healthcare or medical office setting. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Medical Staff credentialing or provider enrollment experience preferred.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to work in a team and to work independently with minimal supervision.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with cloud-based software and Internet preferred. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><h3><i>If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!</i><span> </span></h3><p></p><h3><span>Baptist Health is an <i>Equal Employment Opportunity</i> employer.</span></h3>
