Here at Lakeside Foods, our Agricultural/Field Pest Control team is the backbone of our field operations, Supervising the spraying of all processing crops for weeds and insects. During the off-season, involvement with updating and keeping current all pesticide/fertilizer records, SDS booklet, Sustainable Ag Program keeps everyone busy. They also assist in the overhaul and repair of machinery and vehicles used in field operations.

What You’ll Do:
- Maintain good grower and company relations.
- Contract acres with growers for processing crops.
- Engage with the supervision of seed variety selection, seed germ updates and seed distribution.
- Supervise the planting of crops as directed by the Agricultural Manager.
- Direct contracted spraying services, used for processing crops for weeds, insects, and diseases.
- Maintain an organized seed and chemical inventory, as well as an accurate record of the inventory.
What You'll Bring:
- HS diploma or GED
- Previous experience in an Agricultural pest management program, preferred.
- Must be licensed, or capable of becoming licensed, by the State of Wisconsin as a Custom Pesticide Applicator.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, the pests which may affect processing crops, and be, or become, familiar with the detection and control methods for such pests.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to ensure good grower relations.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, SAP & ITA
