About the role

Global Accounts Receivable (GAR) is seeking a self-driven Receivables Product Manager with a strong owner’s mindset, relentless customer advocacy, and frontline obsession to build and manage cash application tools. You must be process and detail oriented with strong experience working with finance operations and finance technology teams. You will have robust interpersonal and influencing skills, as well as the ability to define business requirements across global teams that drives receivables accuracy and speed. You will be expected to manage Receivables applications in the run state and support new application development and implementation. You will be required to roll up your sleeves, work independently, dive deep, resolve conflicts and demonstrate a high level of ownership.

Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate with finance operations and technology teams to help implement, maintain and improve related cash application tools.
• Build, maintain and enhance intake mechanism for tools feedback, enhancement requests and production issues.
• Write comprehensive Business Requirement Documents that support the development on the application.
• Work with the cross-functional teams to manage prioritization.
• Perform stakeholder management through daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly engagement across levels, businesses and service centers.
• Partner with the technology teams to groom, prioritize (through business impact) and execute the application roadmap, while managing the backlog.
• Build, maintain and continuously review/improve access and operations controls.
• Support migration of channels from legacy tools to new tools ensuring thorough UAT and PVT.
• Ensure reliable operations of the tools to support global teams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and process assets for the tools usage, provide support for the operations and support systems training to the users.
• Partner with the reporting team to define metrics, create reporting mock-ups, write requirements, support data availability and track reporting delivery.
• Identify gaps in the technology and work with the teams to drive improvements.
• Anticipate, measure and mitigate risks to the operations from technology changes.
• Manage the project progress and report regular status.
• Drive adoption of the cash application tools through change management, leveraging data.

Basic Qualifications


  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience as a product manager or owner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Experience owning technology products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
