Description
Humana Healthy Horizons is seeking an Innovation Portfolio Strategy Advisor (Medicaid Strategic Solutions) who will play a critical role in the evolution of Humana’s innovative clinical solutions and, more broadly, in helping Humana deliver on its well-being centered mission. The Innovation Portfolio Strategy Advisor (Medicaid Strategic Solutions) is an experienced health care strategist who will partner across various multi-disciplinary teams at Humana to design, define and deliver innovative digital clinical solutions to help drive improved health outcomes for vulnerable and underserved populations. Responsibilities
- Serves as a primary development lead for the clinical and population health portfolio of solutions.
- Sits in the center of strategy, design, engineering, clinical, and operations and collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business partners and member needs.
- Translates front end Ideation and Discovery work into actionable project plans that lead innovative solutions through design, development, and pilot launch.
- Utilizes product management processes and tools such as: user research and concept testing, business case development, and product blueprints.
- Leverages foundational project management skills such as: documented decisions, plans, and timelines, progress reporting, and artifact collection.
- Successfully applies quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to create prioritized requirements when defining solutions and workflows.
- Defines success for each phase of the product lifecycle from initial feasibility phase to fully scaled solution through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and product success metrics including market adoption, customer satisfaction, and utilization.
- Champions a startup mindset and adoption of agile ways of working across the Medicaid segment to design, develop and deliver differentiated experiences for our customers.
- Employs empathy and human centered design thinking to define scalable product solutions by deep knowledge of internal and external customers digital learning and education habits.
- Maintains tools and trainings that support agile and customer centric ways of working and promote Innovation best practices across Medicaid segment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, or a clinical field.
- 4+ years’ experience in clinical strategy, consulting, or innovation with a specific focus on digital health products.
- 1+ years of health care experience focused on Medicaid populations.
- Experience and understanding of healthcare data and analytics, contemporary technologies, managed care administrative functions and care delivery models.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships including executive and management audiences, and external vendors.
- Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with experience identifying trends and actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MPH, MBA, or clinical field).
- 1+ years of patient care experience focused on Medicaid populations.
- Experience in Agile Methodologies of product development (certifications a plus).
Additional Information
- Workstyle: Hybrid Office if you live within commuting distance of our office locations in Tampa, FL or Louisville, KY, or Remote if you live outside of Tampa, FL and Louisville, KY.
- Travel: Up to 15% possibly outside of your state of residence.
- Core Workdays & Hours: Monday – Friday; Eastern Standard Time (EST) with flexible scheduling (i.e. – occasional nights and weekends).
