JOB IDENTIFICATION

Job Title:                     Concession Staff - Mystic

Grade:                         I

Department:                Recreation

SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to:                  Aquatic Manager, Aquatic Supervisor, Assistant Aquatic Supervisor, Mystic Operations Manager, Group Coordinator

Supervises:                  N/A

BASIC FUNCTION

Concession Attendant stocks supplies, prepare food items and ensures a clean concession environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Prepare and display concession food, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
2. Prepare and keep an adequate supply of food available.
3. Operate all food preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
4. Responsible for cleaning food preparation equipment.
5. Maintain cleanliness of concession building and outside grounds.  Including facility sanitation.
6. Empty garbage cans in a timely fashion and pick up trash/debris throughout picnic & concession area.
7. Demonstrate and promote positive guest relations and exceptional customer service.
8. Work as a team with entire staff.
9. Report all equipment problems to Supervisor.
10. Inform Supervisor of depleting food, paper, and cleaning supplies.
11. Ability to work flexible shifts including evening and weekend hours and July 4th.

OTHER DUTIES

1. Assist the Group Reservation Coordinator as needed.
2. Answer all guest questions and concerns.
3. Monitor activity in entry area and parking lot, when needed.
4. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual and Crisis Manual
5. Direct patrons in the event of an emergency, such as fire, severe weather
6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:                   Some High School education

Experience:                 No prior work experience required.

                                    16 years of age or older

                                    Food handling and preparation experience recommended.

Certifications:             First Aid, CPR and AED certifications preferred

                                    Food Handler Training Certificate required following employment.
