We welcome all candidates who believe, as we do, that innovation is grounded in education.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Devexperts is actively developing its flagship product, DXtrade, which is a trading platform for capital markets (<a href="http://dx.trade">http://dx.trade</a>). This product is offered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or as an on-premises solution used by numerous brokers worldwide.</p><p>A modern trading platform needs to handle hundreds of trading orders per second while supporting highly complex and configurable business logic. Additionally, the platform offers various APIs (Websockets / REST / FIX, provides complex reports, performs risk calculations and aggregations for thousands of active accounts, and receives and distributes market data for numerous trading instruments. DXtrade comprises multiple client-facing UIs, including a web terminal, iOS and Android native apps, as well as administrative web-based UIs, all displaying real-time data - every millisecond counts.</p><p>We’re looking for an experienced iOS developer to help us evolve our mobile terminals used by many clients on a daily basis. While we primarily use Swift for all new code, there are still some portions in Objective C that require attention – so we need some tolerance here. We have a proprietary high-performance mobile transport and share some portions of the code between iOS and Android through cross-compilation.</p><p>You will be a part of a small multi-cultural and multi-location mobile team (6-7 people) developing state-of-the-art complex responsive UIs in SwiftUI/UIKit. Being an autonomous and empowered product team, we own everything collectively – there’s no single person who knows what to do for sure, every voice is heard – bring your wildest ideas to the table. You’ll work hand in hand with product owners, UX specialists and other development teams.</p><p>We employ Kanban, foster the MVP culture, constantly improve our developer experience, and invest time in technical experiments and prototypes.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>What do we expect from you?</strong></p><ul><li>Passion to code in Swift (and sometimes in Objective-C)</li><li>Love for clean, fast, and polished UIs (we use both - SwiftUI and UIKit)</li><li>Solid knowledge of the most important data structures and algorithms – we don’t usually need tree rotations or complex graph algorithms but good understanding of lists, sets, and hash tables is essential</li><li>Practical knowledge of OOP and patterns of UI applications</li><li>understanding of what’s happening under the hood: memory management, concurrency, responder chain, and other low-level stuff</li><li>B2+ level of English</li><li>Ability to dive in the sophisticated business domain (of course with the help of experienced teammates) and learn new things fast</li></ul><p><strong>What makes us happier?</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in trading and capital markets</li><li>Server-side experience – we place no boundaries on the code and it’s entirely possible to design and implement a feature bottom-to-top across all layers</li><li>experience in Java, Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Devexperts employees create the art of FinTech in comfortable working spaces, located in modern business centers around the world.
