Our team's mission is to make machine learning easier and accessible to all developers and data scientists. We do this by building and running both managed and un-managed services for our customers. Today, the vast majority of the machine learning in the cloud happens on the services we build. These services provide the tools, optimized components, algorithms, and scalable infrastructure that help AWS customers use machine learning.
We are seeking a General Manager for AI/ML services. In this role you will be responsible for running multiple ML services, lead the engineering, product, and go to market strategy, partner with product marketing, business development and sales, and drive adoption and revenue of your services. You will also help to drive the strategy for AWS Machine Learning as a whole.
Strong technical skill and experience doing machine learning is desired. If you are ready for the challenge, come and help us design the future.
15+ years of software development experience
10+ years managing engineering teams
5+ years of leading engineering and product
Experience running cloud based services
Experience in a startup environment (less than $1M/year) and scaling out organizations ( $200M+/year) product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $264,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $350,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
