Ultrasound at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is at the forefront of technology. The department features eight new state-of-the-art Phillips IU22 sonography units and offers a comprehensive vascular lab that performs all studies, from carotid to reflux exams, and is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL). This ensures that we conduct studies of the highest quality.  These exceptional standards, along with our coordinated team approach, support our hospital's commitment to putting patients first. However, it takes more than advanced equipment to provide truly superior service. It requires a team of skilled, compassionate, board-certified ultrasound technologists whose primary focus is the needs of the patient. 

Vascular Ultrasound Technologist – Per Diem

Bring your passion and professionalism to the experienced and caring team Queens’ counts on for the highest quality clinical images.  Become part of our tight-knit team and the only facility in Queens to utilize the some of the most advanced technology to identify coronary plaque and stenosis as well as identify other coronary and vascular anomalies.  Bring the best in care and caring, all while providing quality patient assessments and ensuring optimal diagnostic results.

Preferred Criteria

• Two years of experience as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

Required Criteria

• Graduation for an accredited school of Ultrasound program
• High school diploma or GED.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• REGISTERED VASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST (RVT)
• Thorough knowledge of the principles and procedures of ultrasound/vascular technology
