About the role
Ehrhardt Automation Systems is looking for an Electrical Assembler who will serve as lead or assistant electrician on custom automation projects. This role is responsible for the electrical and controls segments of each project. The ideal candidate is experienced in working from electrical schematics and has a strong electrical aptitude.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
M-F, 5:30am-2:00pm.

Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 3-5 years minimum related experience and/or training preferred
- Electrical schematic reading experience
- Read and interpret detail and assembly blueprints
- Read and understand Bill of Materials to organize parts, sub-assemblies, tools and materials needed to complete a task
- Able to maintain multiple tasks in order
- Knowledge and ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely and accurately
- Maintain safe and clean/organized working environment
- Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks to achieve our group’s goals when needed
- Able to travel occasionally as needed
- Must pass physical, drug screening, and background check
- Able to assemble components by examining for correct fit and function using correct fasteners, machined and commercial details
- Able to verify specifications of assemblies by measuring completed components to exact dimensions utilizing precision measurement tools
- Mechanical aptitude
- Engineering thought process (not just the result of a mechanical motion, but the actions and steps required to produce that motion)
- Previous machining or welding experience
