The Back Counter Parts and Warehouse Person reports to the Parts Supervisor. The primary responsibilities of this person will be to ensure the shop has the parts they need to complete works orders, provide parts estimates to the Service Supervisor as required and handle inventory storage, distribution, and organization for the Parts Department.

Responsibilities
• Assists in maintaining parts, supplies.
• Issue parts to work orders, distributes parts to the correct bay and technician.
• Locates parts as needed for parts and service.
• Tracks the shipment of parts ordered.
• Periodically drives to pick-up parts.
• Maintains parts room, and other areas as assigned, clean, safe, secure, and well organized.
Attributes & Skills
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, vendors, and the public.
• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Must be proficient with Computer technology.
Qualifications
• Valid clean driver's license.
• Preference given to persons with forklift experience.
• Experience in inventory with an ERP or database system an asset.
Working Conditions
• Working indoors in parts warehouse environment.
• Regular exposure to industrial shop hazards which require additional protection from noise, fall hazards and air quality. Safety boots must be worn.
Physical Requirements
• Physically fit with maximum 50 lbs (overhead crane use over 50 lbs).
• Standing on your feet for a long period of time.
• Sitting, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
Shift Availability
• Day Shift Monday to Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm
• Overtime available, ability to work longer hours when needed.
