Procurement Program Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Procurement Program Manager manages vendor contract lifecycles, fixed asset maintenance and repairs, and coordinates procurement operations for new clinic openings and closures. The position acts as the point of contact between NextCare and the landlords and property managers of the commercial real estate NextCare leases. The position is responsible for ensuring both NextCare and the landlords adhere to the contractual terms of the leases and coordinate facility maintenance and repairs. This position does not have direct reports but is highly collaborative and project-driven, requiring coordination with all levels fo the organization to ensure timely execution and alignment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the lifecycle of vendor contracts and leases, including intake, renewals, and expirations
- Maintain contract tracking systems and ensure compliance with internal procurement policies
- Coordinate vendor relationships and assist with performance oversight and service escalations
- Support procurement operations for new clinic openings, relocations, and closures
- Administer and optimize the organization's supply chain management software to ensure data accuracy, operational efficiency, and alignment with evolving business needs
- Review and approve product substitutions to ensure clinical appropriateness, coordinating with Medical Operations as needed
- Monitor backordered products and collaborate with vendors to identify and implement suitable alternatives
- Develop and manage the day-to-day relationships with the landlords and property managers for NextCare leases
- Interact with Landlords in the facilities management needs of the existing clinics
- Lead and execute procurement team projects including sourcing reviews, process improvements, and contract rollouts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to ensure contract and project alignment
- Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent of 10 years of experience in purchasing, project management, equipment and contract management
Certification: None
Experience: Minimum of 10 years purchasing or related experience, including vendor sourcing, management, and negotiation. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of trade practices, sources, and lead times. Ability to work in a dynamic environment to identify, clarify, and resolve routine problems. Independent judgment and initiative to complete duties proactively, and work under varying deadlines. Ability to prioritize and demonstrate the ability to coordinate multiple high levels of activities under a variety of conditions with minimal supervision. Must have attention to detail and be customer service focused
Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, incl.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Detail oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to multitask and demonstrate high-level of flexibility and discretion.
VALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Bachelor degree or higher level education
Certification: Maintain active notary credentials
Experience: Healthcare industry knowledge
