[What the role is]

Principal Geomatics Engineer (Expansion of N3DMP – 3D Management System)

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of a team responsible in managing various types of high quality 2D and 3D mapping data (e.g. aerial imagery, point clouds, 3D digital city models, etc.) from the National 3D Mapping Programme. Your primary role will contribute towards (a) implementing a 2D and 3D data management system, (b) database connection and access among systems, (c) data analytics and exploitation, and (d) establishing APIs development pipelines.

[What we are looking for]

• Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, Information Technology, or a related field conferred by a recognised university.

• 2-4 years relevant working experience in product management, database management, system design, configuration, and maintenance.

• Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

• Strong understanding in operating systems, network protocols, and security principles.

• Knowledge in 3D geospatial data and proficiency in programming languages such as Python and data visualisation tools will be an advantage.

• Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
