The Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) Technology division is responsible for enabling and evolving Capital One’s foundational cloud infrastructure layer, including observability, connectivity, resilience and availability.
As a Lead Systems Integrator within CORE, your customers are all technical experts in their fields and your focus will be on understanding their needs, and incorporating that knowledge to work with our technology and customer teams to develop capabilities and solutions in support of enabling a well managed, integrated cloud enablement experience across many organizations and processes.
You will find yourself partnering daily with subject matter expertise to ensure that features are aligned with business, technical needs and roadmap.
You should have experience in stakeholder management, project management, cloud experience, technical systems analysis, and be comfortable working in an Agile environment and with Agile-related tools (Jira, Confluence, etc). You should be passionate about your role and comfortable communicating your point of view with your peers and leadership.

Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Partner with the cross functional teams (design, engineering, product) in solution identification and requirements definition
Lead the prioritization of work into short and long-term roadmaps
Work closely with the engineers to deliver the right solution
Anticipate risks, manage issues and clear obstacles
You’ll be working with teams within Capital One on a unified strategy for accomplishing our shared goals focused on tangible outcomes.
Foster an environment of collaboration and sharing. You’ll be responsible for working with teams within Capital One to share roadmaps, identify needs that have key strategic impact, and work to deliver those through collaboration with engineering teams.
Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, supplier management, leadership teams, and deliver outcomes with engineering teams.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 4 years of experience in planning, execution, and analysis of technology projects or programs using data
At least 4 years of experience supporting technical partners
At least 4 years of experience working in an Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
CSM, CPO or SAFE advanced certification
AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solution Architect certification
5 + years of experience in Service Now Platform.
5+ years of experience in Agile methodologies and tools (Kanban, JIRA, or Confluence)
5+ years of experience in technical systems analysis
