The Role:

The Private Equity Department Specialist’s primary responsibilities include processing various investments, liquidations, in-kind exchanges, and expense requests received from our clients.  The Representative reports to the Private Equity Department Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to cross train and float between transaction types within the department.
  • Ensure all transactions and customer requests are completed within defined service level times while meeting accuracy and productivity standards.
  • Communicate with investors, sponsors and internal departments via phone, email or in writing as appropriate to resolve service requests.
  • Process all items/requests in accordance with regulatory standards and trust company procedures to ensure compliance with the maintenance of accounts and maintain necessary documentation accordingly.
  • Research complicated issues to resolve account errors and make adjustments.
  • Special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Data entry, keying 40+ wpm.
  • Extensive customer service experience in the financial/banking/retirement service area.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational ability and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time while working.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 2 years of IRA, retirement services or banking operations experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, client service oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task, to work under pressure, be pro-active and to think “out of the box”.
  • Maturity and a strong sense of integrity, self-motivated and resourceful, strong cultural awareness

The position is based in the DENVER, CO area. This individual will need to be onsite up to three days per week.
