 Medical Director – Inpatient Psychiatry (Part-Time)
River Region Psychiatry Associates – Marks, MS

River Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our team as a Medical Director for our inpatient unit in Marks, MS. This is a part-time position offering a flexible schedule and a rewarding leadership opportunity.

Position Details:

• Inpatient Setting – 8-bed geriatric unit
• On-Site Requirement – 1 day per week to attend treatment team meetings and see patients
• Telemedicine Rounding – 20-30 minutes daily to collaborate with the on-site Nurse Practitioner
• Minimal Call – 4 nights per week, no weekends (rarely called)
• Collaborative Role – Serve as the collaborating physician for the on-site NP

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) in Psychiatry
• Active Mississippi medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry (ABPN). 
• Active or eligible medical license in Mississippi. 
• Strong leadership and teaching skills, with a collaborative approach to care. 
• Previous experience supervising mid-level providers is a plus.
