About the role

This employee serves as the primary champion of Lean Six Sigma across the organization.
  • Leads and manages a team of process improvement professionals to deliver strategic, enterprise-level initiatives that drive measurable improvement in cost, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction
  • Influences culture, fosters engagement, and builds trust through consulting, coaching, and modeling best practices
  • Responsible for expanding and developing the Green Belt community, delivering training and mentorship, and directly managing a portfolio of high-impact projects
  • Combines technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to teach, mentor, and guide
    teams in adopting a continuous improvement mindset while building Lean Six Sigma capability across all levels of the organization
JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Services as a credible ambassador for Lean Six Sigma, visibly engaging stakeholders to build trust and drive adoption
  • Models the behaviors and mindset required for cultural transformation

  • Champions a data-driven, problem-solving culture that values continuous improvement and innovation
  • Leads complex, cross-functional projects that deliver significant business impact in cost, quality, service, and culture
  • Identifies, analyzes, and improves inefficient processes across various departments
  • Ensures robust project tracking and communicates results and progress to executive leadership
  • Acts as an internal consultant, partners with leaders to assess opportunities, designs solutions, and implements change effectively
  • Mentors, coaches, and develops Black Belts, Green Belts, and project teams to build organizational capability and sustain improvements
  • Delivers engaging training and learning experiences that build practical Lean Six Sigma skills across all levels
  • Develops standard work, visual management, and change management plan to ensure improvements are maintained over time
  • Oversees the implementation of changes to processes and workflows, and helping stakeholders adapt to new ways of working
  • Utilizes data analysis tools to identify root causes of problems and measures the impact of process improvements
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution, required
  • Engineering field, preferred
Work Experience
  • Minimum, 5 years as a process engineer, project manager, quality specialist or similar role
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role managing Lean Six Sigma teams
  • Formal practice implementing Lean and Six Sigma projects within a transactional environment
  • managing and mentoring process changes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Trained in Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques
  • High level of math and statists
  • Must effectively articulate change supported by data and sell change opportunities to management and employees
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
  • Must be comfortable presenting to groups
  • Must travel up to 30%
  • effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Licenses and Certifications
  • Master Black Belt certification, Required
