Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere.  This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Job Summary: 

We are currently looking for a Production Associate I for our new factory in Columbus, Ohio. 

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Associate I to join our new factory in Columbus. The Production Associate I will primarily be responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring the quality of output, and adhering to standard operating procedures. This role typically reports to a production team leader. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Set up and operate production equipment to produce various commercial products following specifications, blueprints, and diagrams. 

• Monitor production output to ensure quality and conformance to required metrics. 

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, reporting any inconsistencies or equipment issues in a timely manner. 

• Adhere to established safety protocols, including material handling guidelines and the use of protective gear. 

• Provide timely feedback on any production abnormalities or deviations from SOPs. 

• Assist new employees and team leaders in achieving their tasks and work targets. Accept temporary job reassignments as needed. 

• Execute work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist the team leader in meeting various production goals. 

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.

• 0-1 year of general work experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of production safety and 6S workplace standards.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Strong coordination, communication, planning, and execution skills.
