Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Requires two early starts 7am and late evenings working in patient care until 7pm. 2-3 Saturday shifts required per year.

Licensure:

  • Physical Therapist


Education/Experience Required:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in PT from an accredited school of physical therapy. Meets the annual requirement for stroke education (2 hours per year) for PT's working with adults with stroke

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Good interpersonal skills and communication
  • Licensed in the state of Illinois

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Required to work approximately 1 weekend per month or evenings depending on area of assignment. Lifts 50 to 100 pounds occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds constantly.
  • This requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 08/01/2014. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
