The Treasury Team

The Treasury team makes an outsized impact at Okta and is responsible for managing liquidity, investments, funding, risk, and cash flow to ensure financial stability and support strategic goals. Treasury also oversees cash management, banking relationships, debt and capital structure, ensures compliance with financial controls, and provides critical insights to leadership on financial implications of business decisions. 

The Senior Treasury Analyst Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, this role will be pivotal to Okta’s core Treasury operations, including but not limited to cash/liquidity management, supporting Okta’s global banking structure, and assisting with compliance. The ideal candidate is a self starter with a strong desire to learn and grow in the role. 

What you’ll be doing

• Assist with our banking portals and related administration
• Perform Treasury SOX controls, reporting, and policy compliance
• Ensure cash management is performed in accordance with Okta’s goals and policies
• Support global bank account management including account opening, closing, maintaining signatory lists, and KYC
• Assist with daily global liquidity, funding our global business, and cash forecasting processes 
• Work closely with internal groups including Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Audit and Legal on Treasury related projects 
• Implement a treasury management system
• Manage the liquidity of Okta’s international subsidiaries
• Ad-hoc Treasury projects 

What you’ll bring to the role

• Minimum 3+ years relevant experience in global corporate treasury or equivalent experience 
• International and US Treasury cash management experience 
• Excellent analytical skills and desire to own the numbers
• Smarts and willingness to learn more than what is required at the Senior Analyst level
• Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and high attention to detail 
• A strong understanding of financial and operational controls 

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related Business discipline
•  A strong desire to learn in both attitude and aptitude
• High level of emotional intelligence, integrity, motivation, and curiosity
• Experience with Clearwater, Bloomberg, treasury management system(s), and major banking portals
• TMS implementation experience
• Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
