Job Description

Are you passionate about connecting people strategy to business outcomes? The People Planning, Insights, Analytics & Systems team helps the business thrive by driving data-based decisions on Visa’s most important asset – our people. As part of the Consulting arm of the team, you will help build the capacity, capabilities, & connectivity to enable data-empowered decisions with seamless experiences across the employee lifecycle.

The Senior Manager, Consulting Insights, Product & Technology, role will support complex projects and operationalizing data deliverables for Visa’s product development and technology teams. Working closely with the Director of Consulting Insights, Product & Technology, you’ll act as the voice of the customer for leaders across HR, Finance, Workforce Planning, and the business to influence people strategy as well as priorities across our team’s products and services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, consultative, communication, and storytelling skills and will thrive managing concurrent projects while working with a cross-functional team to drive outcomes. We are looking for someone with a curious, growth mindset with an aptitude for data, and a passion for people-centric strategy.
 

Primary responsibilities include

  • Drive operationalizing, scaling, and automating data deliverables for core business planning cadences and review cycles such annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and monthly insights

  • Identifies appropriate problem-solving methodology to intake and deliver complex ad hoc data requests, scoping deliverables for key business questions, and utilizing research, data, and external information sources to deliver actionable insights

  • Leverage enterprise tools and internal reporting capabilities, such as Workday, Tableau and Excel to drive analytics and enable client self-service on routine queries

  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and provide insights to help inform, influence, support, and execute our talent decisions

  • Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of the broader team

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs

  • Support Director with continuous improvement of operations for team deliverables and projects, such as intake processes, standardization of complexity scoping and delegation, tracking product and services utilization metrics, and driving engagement of “super users”

  • Cultivate, maintain, and deepen relationships with across the team as well as with stakeholders, partners, and executives with ability to work across, up, down to deliver outcomes

  • Operate with a customer-centric, growth mindset to contribute to Visa, leveraging business acumen to proactively raise opportunities and gaps for supported functions and across broader team

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Experience in fields with client-facing, project or deliverables-based work such as management consulting, business / technical operations, sales operations, client services, financ
