Sr. Manager, Pricing Analytics

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr. Manager, Pricing Analytics to join our growing team. 

 

THE ROLE

Jeld-Wen is seeking an experienced pricing analytics manager – one who is comfortable organizing disparate data, analyzing to root cause, generating hypotheses and then creating visuals to communicate to various stakeholders. This person is an individual contributor and manager who is comfortable being the focal point for diverse pricing questions and capable of hiring other talented individuals to their team; being a servant-leader and collaborating with other functions. This role should be seen as a combination of strategy, analytics translator, and best-in-class process excellence and will report to the Sr. Director of Pricing.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and execute a strategy for price analytics and reporting for the manufacturing and distribution Businesses.
• Lead the development of new analytics, automation and reporting initiatives to enhance decision making, deliver strategic pricing priorities and increase team productivity.
• Build and lead a team of analytics professionals who can effectively work with teams from other BUs.
• Utilize analytical techniques and tools to combine data from multiple sources to evaluate the success of price strategy / pricing programs and identify revenue enhancement and margin improvement opportunities.
• Gather business intelligence from internal and external sources to evaluate changing market trends and strategies.
• Effectively communicate and translate data into insights and recommendations for the business.
• Proactiveness & comfort in challenging the status quo and ideating on new & innovative ways to approach ongoing problem statements.

• Proven Analytical Skills – Ability to organize and clean large datasets, perform statistical analysis, identify critical information, think strategically then develop actionable recommendations.

• Attention to detail – Ability to complete data requests accurately and thoroughly.
• Deliver Results – deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Aids Understanding – Ability to communicate technical data understandably to non-technical audiences.
• Reporting - Experience with monthly reporting metrics, data collection, manipulation and analysis.
• Communication – Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills.

 

Education and Experience

• 10+ years of relevant pricing strategy and analysis experience (manufacturing industry preferred).
• Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, data analytics or a related field
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, Alteryx, R, SQL, Tableau, MicroStrategy or similar tools
• 3+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing high-performing teams
• Working knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI & SAP
• Preferred: experience with a modern pricing / price optimization platform
