Senior Central Supply Distribution Technician (Sterile Processing) - First Hill

The Central Services Technician is responsible for all task-based Central Services activities.  Central Services activities include, but are not limited to: decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation, assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts, paring and replenishment of materials, and receiving and distribution of Central Services supplies.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training and Completion of formal Central Services Technician course or successfully challenged Course test.
  • Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association  Or
  • Upon hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution 
  • 3 years of related experience with surgical instrumentation in hospital Sterile Processing/ Central Services environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Materials management and/or supply chain experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
