Position:
Product Manager - Boston, MAPosition Summary:
Responsible for working cross-functionally to interpret customer/client needs, define product strategy and maintain multi-year product roadmap. In this role you will take a product and/or concept and guide it from inception to execution while prioritizing key activities that impact bottom-line performance. Additionally, you will evaluate complex and connected business needs and processes, interpret needs, bring resolution by utilizing various data types and appropriate tools in order to help build a tailored and sustainable product, or engage with 3rd party vendors to identify and integrate their product into Lumeris system.Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
- Works across an assigned value stream or business unit to interpret and define a product or concept and oversee the product life cycle process including identification, assessment, design, and delivery of new Integration, Interface, MDM, ETL data offerings as well as manage existing product enhancements.
- Develops a deep understanding of product or product family and serves as subject matter expert of respective product or product family to business owners.
- Defines and delivers clear expectations for quality of products, services, and processes.
- Develops strong relationships across all levels of the organization while articulating and negotiating complex information that is tailored to the level of the audience for whom it is intended.
- Partners cross-functionally to initiate and execute vendor engagements and agreements to deliver third party products and/or concepts.
- Cultivates a network of internal and external relationships. Serves as a value-add business partner across diverse teams, external clients, and multiple concurrent projects.
- Ensures collaboration and ownership of current solution analysis within the lenses of technical context and vision of architecture with the needs of business as focal point.
- Analyzes ongoing market needs and document customer requirements.
- Interprets complex information related to barriers within an assigned business unit and implements a direction to help solve or alleviate issues.
- Promotes products and helps to educate sales teams and prospective customers and markets on features and benefits of product or concept.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a technology or business-related field or equivalent
- 5+ of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
- Solid understanding of the healthcare industry
- Ability to impact results in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate critical thinking and sound judgment under short timelines
- Strong knowledge of platform technologies, software architectures., APIs, integration techniques, mobile data management, and extract, transform and load processes
- Strong project management skills with the ability to guide cross-functional project teams and deliver complex solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively influence and impact results at all levels internally and externally
- Ability to create results, prioritize workload, and respond to changing demands/timelines in a high-performing and high-growth environment
- Ability to commute into Cambridge office 3 times per week.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with software as a service delivery model
- Agile development methodology experience
- Exposure and understand of Accountable Care
