EquipmentShare is searching for a Field Technician for our Advanced Solutions location in Salt Lake City, UT who will provide maintenance and repair on a variety of customer and company-owned Pump, Power and HVAC equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up, repair, and operate equipment both in shop and at customer locations
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on all equipment
• Diagnose problem areas for any significant wear and tear on equipment:
  • Air Conditioners (up to 80 tons) and Chillers (up to 230 tons)
  • Diesel Engines
  • DC Electrical Systems 12, 24, 48 volts
  • Propane Systems
  • Hydraulics
  • Heavy Trucks/Automotive
• Diagnose and troubleshoot:
  • Fuel Systems
  • Electrical Systems
  • Hydraulic Systems
  • Propane Systems
  • Diesel/Gas Systems

• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
• Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
• Be eager and able to fix a variety of equipment types
• Enjoy working directly with customers to solve their problems 
• Work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)

Skills & Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license
• High School diploma, trade school certificate preferred
• At least 3-5 years of experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
