Position Summary

Huron temporary consultants are industry experts interested in short and long-term contracts and/or interim staffing opportunities

Qualifications

Your role at Huron: Currently we are identifying candidates with Cerner Core Architect experience for an upcoming 6 month project. We are looking for Consultants to begin as soon as possible. Applicants can be located anywhere in the United States. About 20% travel for go-live support to the client site located in the Upper Midwest region of the US will be required.

Applicant must have the following experience:

-Must be able to analyze and provide recommendations on current and future state organization/location/department design and build as this is an integral element of required deliverables for net new solutions of Cerner Registration and Scheduling, SurgiNet and PathNet, plus existing solutions including Cerner Ambulatory and STAR Financials

-Must be able to manage assigned Core analysts to support design and data collection of key DCW’s for both Amb and Acute. These key Core DCW’s include:

  • Org/Location – Critical Design DCW which drives both clinical and rev cycle processes.

  • Personnel – identification of staff access to system

  • Position Security – identification of roles/positions provided to Munson staff and privileges for each

-Must be able to assess current build impacts from both clinical and revenue cycle Millennium architecture and processes. This would require significant review and testing for a comprehensive impact analysis

  • Assist with testing break/fix and can be available to go onsite for Go-Live support

  • Ability to forge strong working partnerships with local IS team as well as all stakeholders across the enterprise

  • Excellent verbal communications and customer-relations skills

-Must have excellent written skills and experience with documentation of issues and resolutions

-Must be able to communicate clearly and be self-directed

-Ability to effectively communicate to Project Leadership

-Interest in applying technology systems to business processes

-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

-Maintain regular communication with client, vendor, team members and team leaders regarding project issues, risks, and needs 

Basic Requirements
-Current U.S. work authorization

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

The estimated base hourly range for this job is $75.00 to $95.00. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
