Rate of Pay: $25-30/hour

Universal Audio is one of the most respected names in professional audio and music recording products, with a 50-year legacy of traditional hand-built analog studio equipment, and the industry-standard DSP hardware/software plug-in platform.
We are seeking a junior visual designer to join Universal Audio temporarily.

You will be designing a variety of assets across digital. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, and a solid team player capable of delivering great creativity promptly, with amazing attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Create mockups for web pages and emails.
- Create and organize production assets.
- Create/edit presentations in a variety of formats.
- Support the advertising and social teams by creating a variety of ad formats and sizes for different mediums (Facebook, Google, etc.).
- Resize web assets for different devices — desktop, tablet & mobile.
- Contribute to upholding and protecting the Universal Audio brand standard of craftsmanship.
- Participate in weekly critique, review, and planning meetings.
Qualifications:
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Portfolio showcasing your best design work required to apply.
- The ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to effectively take direction and collaborate with creative and art directors, product owners, and other members of the team.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Proficiency with design software: Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD).
- Proficiency with presentation software (PPT, Keynote, Google Slides).
- Basic knowledge of prototyping programs such as Figma is a plus.
- Knowledge of Universal Audio products or music industry knowledge is a plus.
