About the role
Are you passionate about making an impact in the energy industry? We are looking for motivated self-starters that can work in a fast paced, data-driven environment. The successful candidate will be an analytical problem solver, and have an extremely high level of customer focus. This role will support powering our operations with 100% renewable energy by 2025 as part of our goal to reach net zero carbon by 2040 by analyzing data, building metrics, and improving performance of products that support managing the world’s largest portfolio of corporate renewable contracts.
Key job responsibilities
• Identifying system improvement opportunities by analyzing data, monitoring metrics, and partnering with internal teams
• Own on-boarding process for new product users across different geographies with a large number of counterparties and stakeholders. Track progress and drive for successful completion.
• Designing and developing automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
• Work collaboratively with other AWS and Amazon teams to support the management of the renewable energy program.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- - Open to all Majors but preferred: Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Science
- - Experience working in utility/energy industry
- - Experience developing or leading the development of automated tools, defining business requirements and driving implementation
- - Intermediate (e.g. vlookup)/Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Write/edit VBA)
- - Ability to break down and solve complex problems in a high-energy, fast paced environment
