Collins Aerospace Government Security Compliance (GSC) is seeking a Cybersecurity Projects Manager to assist with our Cybersecurity initiatives. As the Cybersecurity Projects Manager, you will be the driving force behind our cybersecurity initiatives. Your dual role involves overseeing critical projects while ensuring the security of our systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage milestones, and introduce new policies and procedures seamlessly.

** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. **

What YOU will do:

  • Execute cybersecurity projects across the organization.

  • Establish working groups, define project scope, and manage project timelines.

  • Ensure successful delivery of initiatives within budget and schedule.

  • Leverage your deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.

  • Provide counsel on policy development, risk assessment, and compliance.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging threats.

  • Mentor and develop team members.

  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

  • Interface with internal and external security personnel, customers, and U.S. Government representatives.

  • Conduct training sessions, briefings, and presentations for various levels of the organization.

  • Align cybersecurity efforts with business goals and priorities.

  • Champion compliance and ensure adherence to policies.

  • Drive a culture of security awareness and accountability.

  • Be prepared for occasional business travel (up to 20%).

  • Collaborate with the security leadership team on strategic initiatives.

  • Adapt to evolving security challenges and contribute to our overall success.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. 

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • DoD 8570.01-M IAM level III certified credentials (CISSP, CISM, GSLC or CCISO)

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and cybersecurity initiatives.

  • Experience with JIRA Software

  • Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening

  • Experience with network security and/or systems security, which includes any of the following: architecture, topology, protocols, components, and/or principles 

  • Experience with configuring and/or auditing operating systems

  • Compliance-based auditing using the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), SNAC guides, Nessus, SCAP, ICD-503, ACAS and/or non-defense regulations such as FAA, Payment Card Industry (PCI), ISO 9001 Quality Management standards, or HIPPA

  • Physical security/security, policework/criminal justice, investigations, or Border Patrol

  • Project or program management, or account management.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

  • Experience in the oversight and execution of the Assessment & Authorization processes (Certification & Accreditation), as defined in DAAPM/JSIG/RMF

  • Experience in the execution and management of Information System’s (IS) incident response and administrative inquiries/investigations in collaboration with the Investigations department.

  • Experience in the oversight and execution of a continuous monitoring/improvement program (to include but not limited to self-inspections, security control assessments, training, log management systems, automated inventory utilities, etc.)

  • Experience providing technical security expertise and oversight for complex, cross-domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments in collaboration with internal/external Customers, Information Technology (IT) and other Raytheon Missiles & Defense Business Units
