About the role
Position Summary...
The Senior Manager, Spark Good is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of many of our customer facing giving programs, with primary ownership of Round Up and Registry. This role blends program strategy, day to day program management, local grant making and governance, and proactive nonprofit communications to ensure programs are impactful, scalable, compliant, and data driven.This role will own multi year program strategy, manage operational execution & budgets for select giving programs, partner closely with internal stakeholders & third party providers as well as lead always on engagement with nonprofits. This role is highly focused on strategic execution, learning, collaboration, and operational excellence.

They manage over $2 billion in annual giving, engaging customers, associates and nonprofit partners to amplify impact. As a core part of the Spark Good program, this role will innovate solutions like Round Up and Registry to strengthen community connections and play a critical role to deepen nonprofit engagement across all local giving programs. This team drives large-scale projects, fosters partnerships, and leverages technology to create meaningful change across thousands of communities nationwide, aligning business goals with lasting societal benefits.
What you'll do...
- Own the 2–3‑year strategy for always‑on customer engagement across Round Up and Registry on Walmart.com.
- Ignite excitement and accelerate adoption across Spark Good programs through high‑impact communications and campaigns that shift behavior at scale.
- Translate strategy into clear roadmaps, priorities, and measurable outcomes – including increased utilization and satisfaction.
- Develop approaches to scaling adoption of the Spark Good tools by nonprofits.
- Work with internal stakeholders to maximize impact in local communities that leverage Walmart’s unique capabilities.
- Enhance impact measurement to assess the efficacy of Spark Good programs; and
- Champion internal culture of impact as part of their everyday work.
- Ability to lead change at scale by using engaging communication levers—campaigns, narratives, and moments—to shift behavior and accelerate adoption.
- Ability to build systems that motivate and engage customers and nonprofits (e.g., nudges, incentives, recognition).
- Ability to operate in a highly matrixed environment and influence stakeholders without authority.
- Ability to thrive in test‑and‑learn environments, using data and insights to iterate and improve programs.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution in complex, evolving programs.
- Passion for community impact paired with strong operational discipline.
