Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Refrigeration / Kitchen Mechanic, the incumbent adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots and maintains all kitchen equipment and refrigeration systems.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
• Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
• Conducts walk – through inspections; and performs routine maintenance and repair of walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, dish washers, mixers, ovens, stoves, and all other related equipment.
• Maintains quality of air, air flow and temperature at on and off-site facilities; adjusts valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through system.
• Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
• Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
• Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s policies, procedures and schedules o insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately.
• Maintains tools and equipment in good, clean working order.
• Promotes positive public / employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs all other related and compatible / non-compatible duties as needed.

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Must possess excellent hand / eye coordination as well as close vision. Must be able to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans, and diagrams and drawings. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Must maintain current EPA technician certification as required by 40 CFR part 82 subpart F and possess a basic mechanical aptitude.

• High school diploma, trade school certificate preferred as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with commercial / industrial equipment or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
