Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends as needed)

We are seeking a Materials Management & Warehouse Operations Associate to support our client’s warehouse operations by managing utility materials, maintaining inventory, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Receive, sort, and organize materials, perform regular stock checks, and report any discrepancies.

  • Shipping & Receiving: Process inbound and outbound shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and prepare products for delivery.

  • Material Handling: Safely operate warehouse equipment and follow proper storage procedures.

  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack products accurately, ensuring correct labeling for shipment.

  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established health and safety regulations.

  • Record Keeping: Complete inventory logs, update shipment documentation, and perform quality checks; experience with Excel or inventory management software is preferred.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily operational goals and productivity targets.

Qualifications

  • Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required.

  • High school diploma required; some college experience preferred.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and perform physically demanding tasks.
