DevOps is one of the core practices within the Cloud Operations competency with the following key offerings:</p> <ul> <li>Assessment and Strategy Planning</li> <li>Continuous Integration &amp; Continuous Deployment [CI/CD]</li> <li>Environment Provisioning (On Prem/Cloud)</li> <li>Automated Infrastructure via IaC</li> <li>Monitoring &amp; Logging and Site Reliability</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>As DevOps engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on industry leading Greenfield and/or Brownfield implementations that meets the highest DevOps standards providing best user experience to EY clients across the globe. You have a passion for automation and try to implement it at every turn.</p> <p> </p> <p>Your key responsibilities </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Implement and automate infrastructure as much as possible using IaC and Configuration Management) to facilitate  development activities</li> <li>Develop, test and maintain continuous integration and delivery workflows using CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and more.</li> <li>Evaluate current  technology, and provide plans and processes for improvement to deliver self-service capabilities for the routine tasks</li> <li>Engage with IT Teams in workshops to support the upskilling of technical resources in DevSecOps methodology and tooling</li> <li>Willing to work in different time zones and capable of going on business travels at client locations</li> <li>Experiment with new technologies, adapt them where needed, fix if needed, always test your solution</li> <li>Contribute to the creation and evolution of GenAI and DevSecOps culture within the organization</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What We’ll Expect</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in DevOps operations, including design, configuration, continuous integration &amp; delivery workflows in CI/CD tools</li> <li> <p>Solid knowledge on implementing code quality analysis, vulnerability scanning and compliance validation</p> </li> <li>Experience in Linux/Windows Administration with strong scripting capabilities in one or more languages ad Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Groovy</li> <li>Robust technical knowledge of Cloud concepts IaaS, PaaS, SaaS with experience in provisioning cloud environments using IaC (e.g. Terraform, Bicep) on Azure, AWS, and GCP</li> <li>Experience in deploying applications utilizing Java, .Net and Node.JS and understanding their architectures</li> <li>Proficiency in maintaining &amp; administering Kubernetes clusters and managing configuration (e.g. Ansible, Puppet) and git-based version control systems</li> <li>Experience in deploying, monitoring and maintaining Cloud systems like Azure Cloud, AWS, GCP</li> <li>Experience with application load balancing for effective scaling and HA</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Skills and attributes for success</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Understanding of or experience in Agile Development Environment</li> <li>Problem solving and troubleshooting with eye for details</li> <li>Good communications and presentation skills - Good command over English (written and spoken)</li> <li>Ability to work in both collaborative and independent work environments</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Ideally, you’ll also have</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline with 4+ years’ of experience</li> <li>Good technical knowledge of Microservice oriented solutions, APIs, Azure AD and common Cloud authentication patterns</li> <li>Experience in building and maintaining network and systems security</li> <li>Cloud DevOps Certification (at least one : MS Azure/AWS/GCP</li> <li>Proven ability to work as Managed DevOps team on projects</li> <li>Understanding and experience in the fields of GenAI and DevSecOps</li> <li>German/French language skills B2+ will be nice to have</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What we offer</p> <p> </p> <p>EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
