About the Role

The Manager of Statewide Student Residences will provide strategic and operational leadership for DECYP’s statewide student residences by ensuring efficient service delivery, successfully implementing the new Student Residence Framework, and fostering a high-performing team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, aligning service standards and strategic planning across residences, engaging in high-level stakeholder communication and negotiation, and delivering authoritative advice to senior leadership, all in pursuit of the department's overall strategic objectives.
Provide leadership, strategic direction and manage the operational activities and functions of DECYP’s statewide student residence services. Responsible for the project implementation and deliverables for DECYP’s new Student Residence Framework.

Period of Appointment

Ongoing - ASAP start date

Hours per fortnight

73.5 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)

Desirable Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • A current driver’s licence
