Senior Manual QA with networking knowledge

We are the team that created OpenVPN, the industry-standard VPN protocol now used by most commercial VPN providers worldwide. We are currently looking for a new member of our QA team who will be responsible for the manual QA process for a range of new and existing products that we are currently developing.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain test documentation

• Help to develop, improve, and employ testing strategies and techniques

• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and report on test execution progress and results

• Participate in design and specification reviews and use this information to design test plans and drive test development

Requirements

• At least 3 years of web testing experience

• Good knowledge of networking (TCP/IP protocols, DNS, VPN, etc.)

• Experience with REST API

• Experience with databases (preferably NoSQL)

• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

• Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test design techniques, test cases, etc.)

• Experience with command line interface

• Experience with virtualization (AWS, DigitalOcean)

• Upper-intermediate English level, both spoken and written

As a plus:

• Experience with mobile testing
