The Lead Analytics Engineer is a strategic partner within the People Analytics Engineering team responsible for the design, development, and automation of HR analytics to prepare our business for the future of work.
What you’ll do:
- Lead a team of analytics professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust analytics solutions to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytics solutions and deliverables.
- Recurring Audits and tracking mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and interpretability.
- Optimize and fine-tune analytics solutions for performance, scalability, and efficiency
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in analytics tools, techniques, and technologies, and continuously improve skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with the Visier Platform Team to ensure infrastructure and pipelines are being built ahead of or in line with new capabilities.
- Collaborate with the Visier Vendor team and customers to anticipate, identify and respond to issues they experience with Visier's solutions, and address technical concerns and requests
- Collaborate with other cross functional teams including HR Data Engineering and HRIT teams to streamline data integration strategy related to day-to-day operations for Visier and maintain security best practices
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related roles.
- Strong analytics, automation, and data experience
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or others commonly used for data analysis and manipulation.
- Strong proficiency with data visualization tools such as Visier, Power BI, Sisense , Tableau or similar.
- Experience with database systems and SQL query optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets
- Visier Certified Developer certification or Strong working Knowledge in the Visier Platform
