Warehouse Manager

Description

A Warehouse Manager with Air Hydro Power supervises, and coordinates activities of workers concerned with receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom or warehouse. Drives business results to ensure that products, policies, and procedures meet Air Hydro Power quality standards which includes maintaining our ISO certification, following OSHA safety requirements, and using LEAN Six Sigma principles. 

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. 

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  3-5 years of experience and/or training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
