TEMP Staff Accountant

Latitude is searching for a TEMP Staff Accountant to join our team as soon as possible. This experienced Staff Accountant will play a critical role in our accounting department and have the responsibility to prepare accounting and financial reports for both internal and external customers while ensuring accurate reporting.
Length of Contract: TEMP (3 months)Hourly Rate: $30/hr
Duties & Responsibilities:Maintains the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation, including preparation of year-end audit work papers.Assists with period and year-end closing of the general ledger including preparation of journal entries.Assists in the preparation of period financial reports and assists in analysis of these reports.Assists with the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts; verifies the accuracy of bank statements and resolves problems or questions.Responsible for all loan control records and reconciliation of loan balances.Assists accounting manager in the reconciliation of restoration shop billing and financial preparations.Also prepares any operating data or other reports as directed by the controller.Maintains all fixed asset records; enters all cash management information into designated system for tax and depreciation records.Other payroll, accounting, and accounts receivable duties as needed and assigned Experience & Education:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting3-5 years of experience is preferredKnowledge of Inventory accountingKnowledge of accrual based accounting
