Information Security Advisor

What does a successful Information Security Advisor do at Fiserv?
As an Information Security Advisor at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our clients' data and ensuring the highest level of security for our financial services. We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable individual who is dedicated to protecting sensitive information and mitigating security risks. What you will do:

• Implement and manage information security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into all aspects of the business.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on information security best practices.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, coordinating mitigation efforts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.

What you will need to have:

• 8+ years of experience in information security, including security assessments and incident response.
• 7+ years of experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• 6+ years of experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and antivirus software.
• 1+ years of experience working with Fiserv database administration software
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification.

What would be great to have:

• 3+ years of experience in a financial services environment.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
• Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or similar certification.
