A day in the life.
As our HR Consultant, Payroll and Benefits, you’ll be responsible for providing expert guidance on payroll and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
Process payroll efficiently and accurately for assigned clients, ensuring compliance with federal state, and local laws, including tax regulations, investigating payroll-related issues, and implementing best practices to minimize risk.
Provide comprehensive administrative support for assigned clients, including maintaining accurate employee and payroll records.
Manage and coordinate all aspects of benefits administration, including processing of enrollments, terminations, COBRA, and providing claims assistance, while ensuring accurate payroll deductions and timely reporting.
Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of employee benefits files and databases, ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations and conducting regular audits to uphold data integrity.
Oversee the accurate management and timely filing of all required government reports, including ACA reporting, 1094 and 1095C forms, W-2s, and additional reports such as the EEO-1 and Vets-100, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Adhere to appropriate response times for client and internal communications. Document time entries to reflect quality and value for clients.
Collaborate with team leads, management, and internal departments to effectively implement MMA’s service strategy, fostering personalized client relationships through clear communication and ensuring cohesive and timely service delivery that creates measurable value and efficiencies for clients.
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources, with a focus in federal, state/provincial, and local payroll tax law and employment regulations
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field
