Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between Customer Service Engineers (CSEs), Mechanical and Cover shop supervisors to develop, maintain, and submit project schedules per contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with Mechanical and Cover shop managers and engage employees to incorporate input and secure commitment to project schedules in alignment with internal Voith processes and systems.
- Key interface between CSE’s, mechanical shop/ cover shop teams / department heads to ensure projects schedules are fully up to date according to actual progress achieved
- Report out KPI’s to ensure completion of the project dates as determined
- Provide early warnings when project dates may deviate or may not be met
- Collaborate with project teams / department heads to identify critical path activities, potential bottleneck situations, as well as opportunities.
- Maintain accurate data in key systems (e.g. JDE, Box) and ensure system updates for data integrity.
- Analyze KPIs and escalate critical scheduling issues to CSEs and shop management.
- Support CSE’s with customer reports and meetings related to scheduling and delivery performance.
- Critically review a schedule and apply concepts of resource loading, cost loading, critical path, fast track (rush jobs) to get an optimal time schedule.
- Create timelines on critical, priority jobs
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project scheduling and/or project management
- Experience with ERP systems such as JDE or SAP preferred
- Production planning experience in custom manufactured products and/or Engineer-to-order business experience
- Background in project, construction and/or proposal scheduling and management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office/shop environment from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
- The vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
- The job may require occasional travel.
