The Medical Clerical Assistant II – Certified provides care in a medical clinic under the direction of a provider. The incumbent maintains a clean and safe environment, provides patient care and provides patients with information. Provides mentoring for Medical Clerical Assistant I's located in the same medical clinic. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in The Methodist Mission, Vision and Values.

 

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required), Technical Degree or Diploma: Medical Assistant

Work Experience:

Medical Assistant or similar, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare facility

Certifications:

AAMA Certified Medical Assistant - The American Association of Medical Assistants, AMT Registered Medical Assistant - American Medical Technologists, BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association, Certified Medical Assistant Technician - National Phlebotomy Certified Education, HEART SAVER - American Heart Association, NAHP Certified Medical Assistant - National Association of Health Professionals, NCCT Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing, NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant - National Healthcareer Association
