About the role
As a VIP Server in our iconic venues, you'll deliver exceptional service to VIP suite guests during live performances. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for suite guests, coordinate food and beverage service, and proactively anticipate guest needs to ensure an unforgettable experience. As the ideal candidate, you'll share your passion for hospitality and live music with our most enthusiastic fans. Reports to Manager Food and Beverage.
- Greet guests with a smile and sincere welcome. Verify VIP suite ticket holders and guests and express appreciation for their business.
- Demonstrate knowledge of menus and daily specials. Respond to guest inquiries regarding the menu, beverage options, and entertainment. Suggestively sell to boost sales. Communicate allergy alerts.
- Take food and beverage orders. Input them into POS system accurately and communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and guests.
- Deliver food and beverage orders promptly, verifying accuracy. Carry large trays of food and drinks through crowded areas and on stairs.
- Work with FOH managers, bartenders, and security staff before, during, and after shows to ensure seamless operations. Provide support across departments and maintain clear, proactive communication to enhance the VIP suite holder experience.
- Monitor suite areas to uphold VIP standards. Stay visible and proactively address guest needs with a professional, positive attitude.
- Address seating discrepancies or unauthorized photo/recording, Alert managers and security staff to assist as needed.
- Set up VIP areas before events (stanchions, table configuring, wristbands, etc.). Attend pre-shift meetings. Perform defined opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
- Keep VIP and surrounding areas clean and safe. Bus tables, remove trash, or other obstacles throughout event. Direct cleaning crew when assistance is needed.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training, and company policies. Request proper ID per company policy.
- Comply with all company issued steps of service. Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years' food/bar service experience required
- Experience in nightlife operations
- POS check and cash handling experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs
- State Alcohol Education Card required upon hire
