Patient Authorization and Referral Representative

This is a remote - Full time - Day shift position

Washington State residency is a requirement

The Insurance Verification position functions as an integral team member of the Revenue Cycle, providing account sponsorship: ensuring patient account reimbursement by obtaining demographic, complex insurance information, partnering with Care Management to provide clinical information, and ultimately ensuring the required authorizations are in place.

Required Qualifications: 

• 1 year - Experience in customer service or healthcare registration.
• Previous healthcare experience in either a provider or payor site.
• Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 1 year - Related experience in a healthcare setting (i.e. financial counseling, insurance office).

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
