The compliance and quality engineer at Cybex is responsible for managing product compliance in all phases of the life cycle (pre-launch, launch, MFG). Track consumer feedback about product and drive resolution for product safety and compliance concerns. Represent Cybex within regulating bodies. Assist in managing product quality in all phases of the product life cycle.

 

Your Areas of Responsibilities:

• Gain understanding of the individual consumer use of the product through by conducting consumer focus groups.
• Utilize tools such as failure mode analysis and to confirm that safety is built into the design of the product.
• Assess the processes utilized by the design and manufacturing teams to determine if they are robust enough to guarantee safety.
• Maintain awareness and appropriate involvement in the investigation of product safety concerns.
• Network to understand product safety concerns and emerging hazards.
• Communicate safety concerns, hazards and required business processes to the Design and Manufacturing teams.
• Review product and product concepts to gain an understanding of how the product evolved.
• Identify potential safety concerns with Cybex and GB products.
• Participate in the Hazard Review meetings.
• Track products to confirm the product is reviewed for potential risks.
• Assess compliance concerns on an ongoing basis to verify that processes are in place to maintain compliance with current rules and regulations.
• Monitor results of internal and external testing to confirm that effective systems are in place.
• Provide feedback to appropriate individuals on process concerns and concerns.
• Review and analyze external data from customer complaints and government reports.
