As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages while maintaining patient safety. You will be joining a close-knit, hardworking, and supportive team of caregivers that prioritizes quality patient care. You will also have access to the latest and greatest imaging technology and the best equipment in the area. This position offers a great starting point on which to expand your skillsets and experience. **Tech will follow mobile MRI machine between Twinsburg and Sports Health.**
A caregiver in this position works days, 7:30am—4:00pm. Caregiver will travel between Twinsburg and Sports Health. 3 days at Twinsburg Monday Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Sprots Health.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of MRI examination.
Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA.
Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service.
Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility.
Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
Attend in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT
Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) required within one year of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), or R.T.(S)(ARRT), or R.T.(T
