The Role

We are looking for a capable candidate to join the Platform Engineering team as a Lead SRE that will work collaboratively with global development and delivery teams. The PE team is responsible for availability, capacity planning of our platform, infrastructure and security management and monitoring. This team is responsible for driving root-cause analysis in collaboration with development teams and risk teams to reduce system issue occurrences.

The Expertise You Have

• Hands-on working knowledge of AWS cloud services and technologies.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in AWS with CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Lambda function, Step Functions, Bitbucket Pipelines, and ArgoCD.
• Building supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies using VPCs, WAF, ALB, AWS Shield, Cloudwatch and Cloudtrail.
• Understanding security standards (ciphers and encryption).
• Configuring and managing certificates with AWS Certificate Manager and CloudHSM for both public and internal facing services.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining Kubernetes and Istio with different configuration setups (EKS on multi-AZ).
• Experience with AWS Config and being able to convert policy requirements into compliance checks (compliance as code).
• Deploying public cloud-based applications with high performance microservice architecture.
• Ability to apply automation to infrastructure processes and instrumentation.
• Experience in writing code (scripting) in languages such as Python, Go, Bash, Rust.

The Value You Deliver

• Work across the team to deliver platform, infrastructure and internal system solutions.
• Design and implement infrastructure and security technologies within the public cloud.
• Lead members of our PE team to ensure the implementation, integration and operations of our platform and applications.
• Protect our clients, platforms, applications from compromise by implementing and maintaining platform and infrastructure security controls.
• Provide technical guidance and support to our clients and downstream service providers.

The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $175,000 per year.  The actual base pay offered may take into account the candidate's work location, relevant education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
