Physical Therapist-Sports Medicine-Minneapolis

This position is for a .8 FTE (32 clinical hours/ week) at Mayo Clinic Square in downtown Minneapolis as part of collaborative and interdisciplinary sports medicine team. The right applicant will exemplify the 3 Shields of Mayo Clinic, our core values, and our primary value of the needs of the patient come first. The ideal candidate will have completed an Orthopedic or Sports Physical Therapy Residency and be a board certified clinical specialist in Orthopedics and/ Sports. This position will be the opportunity to be involved in education, specifically as Clinical Instructor for PT Students on clinical rotation and/ or as Primary Mentor and Faculty within our accredited Mayo Clinic Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program.

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota as a Physical Therapist. Demonstrated skills in the areas of organization, communication, interpersonal relations, leadership, decision making and problem solving. 
Prefer board certification in clinical specialty area and/or advanced degree in health care field. 
Also prefer active participation within professional organization. Current physical therapy licensure in the state of Minnesota.
