PT- Tech

Job Description:

PT- Tech-Out Pt. Physical Therapy-Full-Time

• The Physical Therapy Tech works only under direct supervision of a PT/PTA. Tech will perform specific patient treatments as directed by the PT/PTA.
• Tech will prepare the patient and/or the area for treatment
• Tech will assist with exercises and facilitating patient on/off equipment as directed by PT/PTA.
• He/she is responsible for maintaining the physical order of the department.
• Tech will assist in transporting patients as needed and will assist with clerical duties and the orientation of new employees and volunteers as needed
• The Physical Therapy Tech must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of patients with impaired mentation, vision, hearing, or mobility.

• Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Past Pt. Experience preferred
• Certifications based on the unit worked CPR
