Senior Manager Infection Prevention

The Senior Manager of Infection Prevention is the subject matter expert in the epidemiology and natural history of infectious processes and pathogens, recognition of clusters and risk factors for infection, and methods for breaking the chain of infection. Participates or facilitates in strategic planning activities related to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Infection Prevention program to support Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, and Outcomes management.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Lab Sciences, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, Related health sciences field Or equivalent educ/experience
- Upon hire: National Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology
- 8 years of Quality and patient safety or other directly related healthcare experience
- 6 years of Infection Prevention or Epidemiology
- 6 years of Leadership
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Lab Sciences, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, Related health sciences field Or equivalent educ/experience
